You shouldn't have to copy the plugins anywhere. On my installs they're showing as active under About:Plugins.

If you installed by using the .msi file then you may indeed see this happen. The .msi file is good for use in Active Directory deployments. With the switchless installer I have no problems. I used the following as a test:

I've made it so that this installer will now put the appropriate Firefox plugin files in their respective directories. I'm not sure when this started to become a mandatory manual step, but it's something that does not appear necessary with Real Alternative.

Just to note this error or a version of it is appearing in the realalt msi as well when deployed via GPO.. It's not a killer issue but if there's a way to remove it in the next version it'd help reduce the static in the error logs. :)

This is one of the "problems" with GPO deployment in general and this installer in particular. So long as you're connected to the network the first time the OS needs to invoke msiexec, you're all set. This happens to me with a good number of installer when they are deployed via GPO and they're a full file .msi vs. an AIP.

It's nothing much to worry about, and even if it were, there wouldn't be anything I could do about it. I suppose you could attempt to convert all of your full file .msi files into AIPs and attempt to deploy those, but realistically speaking if you want the benefit and convenience of managing your applications network wide this is about the best you're going to get.

Is QT lite the same as QTA? There's a newer version of QT lite (2.6.0) that looks very similar, if not the same, as the older QTA. Just wondering as I can use this newer one in my runonceex in the meantime till a new official rogue version is out.

I believe they are the same thing. The main difference would be the tweaks I put in regarding Media Player Classic.
