QuickTime Alternative V3.2.2

QuickTime Alternative V3.2.2

Multimode Installer - 8.13MB
MD5: 6dbdaf7de8c618b13e64f9f99fbcfd0a

.MSI File - 14.9MB
MD5: be3538d177deece35606787d13eba4bf

Apple Application Support V1.3.0

Multimode Installer - 9.85MB
MD5: 19bffaf08abe52cd6d6654d1377a1557

Installs From: svcpack.inf
Installs To: %PROGRAMFILES%\Multimedia\QuickTime Alternative
Shortcut: None
Last Updated: 20100620
Notes: This installer has been made to look for it at %PROGRAMFILES%\Windows Media Player\mplayer2.exe. My Update Addon will replace the default mplayer2.exe with Media Player Classic. As of V3.2.2, the Apple Application Support installer is a dependency. This is a modified version of the original in which I removed the Microsoft VC++ 2005 SP1 runtimes and foreign language support (which I don't think should be needed anyway).

License: Freeware
Description: This is a lightweight version of QuickTime. It contains only the essential components that are required for viewing QuickTime content in your favorite browser.

Bummer that Apple strong-armed the developers of QTA and the program is now killed off. The quicktime format is garbage anyway.

I imagine I'll be getting a CnD soon if I don't take it down too.

Rogue, if you have time, can you please make addon version of main K-Lite Mega Codec Pack too? :)

Ok Rogue, thanks anyway... it was to have all most useful codecs installed with Windows :(

I'll try to find some alternatives if you cannot do that :)

Is this installer supposed to place the plugins for firefox into the \Mozilla Firefox\plugins directory as I've always had to do it manually afterwards by extracting the installer and fiddling around copying the files over for some reason. Thanks.
