Adobe Reader 9.3.4 Multimode Installer

Hi user,
i have had a play using this guide but i have a few questions as the instructions are a few years old.

do you still need msitub.exe for msi files? whats the succesful way of executing an msi in config.txt?
howd you setup the config.txt to use your two switches of -ai & -ai1?

Hi Tarquel,
been there done that & it didnt work..lol

not sure why but disabling pdf in browser in CIW didnt work for me. The install switch is working ive just got to repacakage it like User_Hiddens. Actually I dont really need to repackage but I want to know how its done. Im virtually there now on the sfx.

that link is showing you how to make a 7zip self extracting installer.
i am using the 7DSFX.DLL module. it is quite different than the regular 7zip program.

i never have used msistub.exe nor msiexec.exe to run msi installers.

you can find all of the config.txt setups and features at the link i replied a few posts up.

here is a sample config.txt

I have extracted your config.txt & added the DISABLE_BROWSER_INTEGRATION=YES switch were necessary. Ive added the shortcut to the sfx file & recreated the package. Seems to work ok so far.

is the dll control used for displaying the message regarding the switch options etc?

got a problem with the Customer Improvment pgoram now. Ive just noticed that this comes up on your installer aswell.

if you open a doc in adobe 3 odd times it comes up.

Ive tried the CIW again & created my MSt with the improvment program turned off & PDF in browser disabled but the msi is not listerinng to the mst..
