Katana

I've long been a fan of multiboot USB. For quite a while I have been maintaining my own personal version of UBCD. But a couple of weeks ago I discovered (and I don't remember when from now) a great project called Katana. I've since started to modify it and update it. You can follow along in the Katana forums here.

I reached out to him and at first it seemed as though I had gotten a positive response. So I was a little bit taken by surprise when v1.5 was released without having had any further communications with the author and to find that none of my improvements or suggestions were implemented.

I've started to work on a mod package for v1.5. Depending on how easy it is to implement with a simple batch file (windows) and shell script (*nix), I may release it as a torrent. But it isn't something I've been actively working on lately.

That's a shame about his not taking your suggestions, they did seem quite valid. Well, I might play with this a little anyway. Please post if you do release anything. As always, Thanks for all you do.
